Lord Nelson Hotel & Suites

The Lord Nelson was a perfect spot to land after flying into Halifax for the first time. The front desk staff are incredibly accommodating and friendly, and allowed this weary traveler to do a very early check-in. The location is very central and in walking distance of all the downtown desireables. The rooms are comfortable, the petite room perfect for a solo traveler. Would recommend to anyone looking for a short term central stay in Halifax.

The staff at the Lord Nelson are phenomenal. There were some issues with our booking that they helped straighten out, the housekeeping staff are great, and they gave us a complimentary bottle of wine for our wedding anniversary. We even extended our stay here. Top notch service. Would stay here again!

Great location across from the public gardens. Super friendly and helpful staff. Rooms were nicely renovated and very comfortable. Also had a cool mail shoot. Had brunch in the pub as well, delicious croissant french toast!
