“Hachi Hana Japanese Restaurant is a relaxed place serving typical sushi rolls, noodle soups and Japanese mains such as teriyaki and tempura. This restaurant showcases a menu brimming with traditional dishes that delight the senses. Hachi Hana Japanese Restaurant is one of the original Japanese restaurants on the Lonsdale strip and has many regular customers. They serve good sushi and sashimi dishes and have hit the sweet spot regarding quality and price. They also have some tremendous Korean dishes that are not traditionally found in Japanese restaurants. They have high chairs for the customer's kids and serve vegetarian dishes. They have a television in the restaurant to maintain a good vibe.”

First impressions when we walked in was clean and nice atmosphere. Fast and great customer service! The food are delicious and come out fast. We enjoyed all of them. Just only burnt shoyu ramen, my husband said it could be tastier. They also have mouthwash and toothpicks with a little cup for you in the washroom. Pretty thoughtful especially for who eat spicy garlic broth like me. Give them a review them you get matcha ice cream, love it! Sesame cheesecake is really good too.

Had the beef and pork original bowls. Both fantastic. Meat was torched which adds a nice touch. Broth not too oily or salty, was comforting, and came piping hot. The bowls come with a generous portion of a whole egg plus ample toppings. Servers are nice and attentive, great customer service. My waiter Jeremy took time to explain the menu to me as it was my first visit. Really glad to see more ramen shops in North Van. Will return.

Very friendly staff and a comfortable atmosphere to dine in. There are lots of seats for both small and large groups. The food was delicious - I got the seasonal ramen with pork gyoza. The gyoza was fresh and very delicious, and the ramen was spectacular. The broth was delicious, and the pork was cooked perfectly.

HACHI HANA JAPANESE RESTAURANT REVIEWS

Delicious! Very high quality ingredients and great value. Maybe 50 cents extra but twice as good as other places. Salmon avocado rolls are the best I’ve ever had. Very generous with salmon and avocado (while other places are mostly rice) and the salmon is wild sockeye - so tasty!

Fresh food, great service. Love the atmosphere. We ordered quite a big meal there: salad, nigiri sushi, sashimi, salmon oshi sushi, tempura, and more (not everything was pictured). Portion is decent and they all taste good. Servers frequently see if you need to refill tea, which is a good thing as we love drinking tea. Thank you for the service!

The food is great, it's fresh and the workers at the sushi bar always greet you when you come in. And if you're a regular, they give you free complimentary.

SANSHO SUSHI & JAPANESE DINING REVIEWS

This is really a suprise that one of the best Japanese restaurants actually located at a quiet neighborhood at Noth Vancouver. If it wasn't recommended by a friend, who is also a Japanese foodie, I wouldn't have discovered this. We ordered sashimi combo, deep fried squid appetizer, tonkatzu combo. Everything was oishiiiiii, so good! Always busy so reservation recommended.

A local North Vancouver gem for Japanese food. The quality and consistency of this place is always good in the three years that I have been going here. They have daily specials which are not on the menu so something to check when you’re there. It can get a bit busy during dinner time so make reservations.

We love Sansho sushi. It has become our go-to in North Van for dinner. We are always impressed with the quality and value. The staff are incredible and we are always glad we went. Highly recommend. The best sushi in North Van, and their teriyaki dinner is great value. Definitely check it out- you won't order sushi from anyone else after!
