Excellent food and wonderful presentation. Friendly staff but they have a very difficult time getting to delivery a bar order like a simple beer or Sake tasting flight, which was very good. Lastly I'll say they really need to cool their beer more. The draft wasn't cold or even cool. The bottled beer wasn't much better.

The first time I’ve been to a restaurant in the North shore for a late lunch. I didn’t expect much because I was just randomly walking around and stopped by Sushi Bella. It was quite quiet when I got there, there are many interesting options on the menu. I got one of their wooden bowl and my friend got the Bella lunch special. They both looked great, tasted delicious and had decent portions. I would definitely come back to try more.

Place was wonderful! Hidden gem! Sashimi was very large and filling. Definitely worth visiting!

I can’t say enough about this place! The service is consistently amazing, even on busy weekends. We usually visit on weekdays, but tonight was exceptionally busy. It’s advisable to call and reserve to be seated right away. The special rolls, including Lonsdale, Grouse Mountain, and Cheetos, are all excellent! Our go-to sushi picks are Eli OShi and the Philadelphia Roll. The Spicy Salmon Sashimi is truly amazing. It’s our favorite spot, and we make sure to go there once a week!

Sushi Umi is awesome! We were hungry after a day of mountain biking and stopped in here for a quick meal before heading back and it blew our expectations out of the water! We were overwhelmed by all the choices they had so we decided to set sail with one of their party platters. It did not disappoint! The best part though was their service. The Sushi bar staff all greeted us warmly when we came in and our server was so sweet. We are a couple of dirty smelly bikers and needed to service a bike outside when we waited and they were super friendly and accommodating (even gave us some miso on the house!). Thanks for being so nice to some loud annoying dirtbags! You guys rock!

I’m always hesitant in trying new sushi places. Once you find the one you love in your area there’s no need to try anywhere else since it’s all the same right? Wrong. Sushi Umi has the thickest rolls, freshest produce and prompt service.
