“The Cronquist Tea House was completely restored, and the interior decorations of the house are new. The house was built in Victorian style, with three stories, on a 3,500 sq ft land by the Swedish immigrant Cronquist family. The house still has the original, beautiful, and extensive woodwork. The house is a tea house and can be rented out for meetings, small weddings, or other private functions. Cronquist Tea House offers a variety of soups, salads, sandwiches, tea for two, and various delicious desserts. This landmark also holds special holiday functions, including the International Christmas Tea, Mother's Day, Victorian Christmas Dinners, special teas, and spring events throughout the year.”

“Red Deer Memorial Centre is the largest soft-seat performing theatre that can hold up to 704 seats. The Centre plays an integral role in the arts scene in central Alberta. A memorial wall was placed in the lobby to remember those who lost their lives in World Wars I and II. The center hosts a wide variety of events and artists, both local and international. Red Deer Memorial Centre also offers on-site laundry and shower facilities. A part of the A-20 Training Camp during WWII was converted into an auditorium, and after undergoing some renovations, it became a performing arts centre. The Memorial Centre provides a variety of local and international events in the theatre. Food and beverages are also allowed in the Red Deer Memorial Centre seats. There are three dressing rooms, a green room area, and restrooms available in this centre.”
