Wow..a beautiful pictures around in every direction in a 30 min or less walk around the pond right in the heart of Red deer..loved it and so many families ..great attraction for the city.
One of the most beautiful ponds in Red Deer. Good for activities like cycling, walking, jogging, boating, kids play area, clean restrooms. Great place to spend time with family and friends.
I love this place. Quiet, serene. Paddle boats. Concerts. Ice cream and tea at the Cronquist house. Just good old fashioned family fun. Ohh and right now there's Shakespeare in the Park.

ROTARY PICNIC PARK REVIEWS
Nice little place for picnic, and slides for the kids. We love the proximity or this and how easy it is to park and go on the walking tracks from here.
So much to do,great way to spend a Saturday afternoon with the family, BBQ and picnic areas, big playground for the kiddos and tons of walking trails!

MCKENZIE TRAILS PARK REVIEWS
This park is surrounded by calm cool water and you cam also fish here. You have to bring your own firewood but has public washrooms and plenty of picnic tables and fire pits.
Scenic park,all sorts of wild life..I saw a moose once in my time there,also geese,many different birds and also beavers..so caution with pets but the beauty is all there. A great day use area.
Ducks are back in full swing. Nice picnic area with plenty of spots. Couple of whiter spots near the entry to the river. Top spot for a family catchup.
