I highly recommend this place! I have been cursed with a terrible voice, but always had an overwhelming desire to sing. I am very happy I started to take lessons after resisting for 30 years. After some extended time focusing on developing my vocal skills, I ACTUALLY got better and can sing in pitch/key. I feel the 1.5 year investment I've made so far has given me gift 1000% worth the investment and is something I know will be engrained as part of the rest of my life. For reference, my music teach is Matt - he's great! Tatiana & Katie at the front desk are super nice too! If you're considering lessons and have a fire for signing, DO IT and stick to it. A couple times I felt I didnt have progress, but some of that was just in my head and it's worth working past that...out of nowhere you may find yourself pleasantly surprised at what you can do. Suddenly you may find yourself surprised about how much you've developed.

As an intermediate level guitar player, playing both rhythm and lead, I decided after many years, on a whim, that I wanted to sing with the various 'fun' bands I played in. Playing Blues, Rock, 60's to 2000's. Anything we liked. I tried some backup vocals at first, and then soloed while playing my guitar. It was a lot harder than I thought. However, over the last few months with a great instructor, and challenging Practice Modules, I have found my ability to both sing and play the guitar together getting, far easier, in so many ways. My son has been taking guitar lessons with John Force for a few weeks now and he is really loving them! He likes how John gives him a few new songs every class to work on and he also really appreciates the extra videos John sends to help him practice. John listens to what my son wants to learn, but also gives him some songs he's not familiar with to stretch his musical knowledge. The location is great for us. I like that the music studio is walking distance from our house! There is a spacious waiting room where I can read while my son has his 30 min lesson, but I can also walk to runnymede and annette if I need to pick up food for dinner.

I'm a teacher for Neighbour Note, and I can honestly say it's been a great experience working with them! The staff is friendly, both in terms of the administration and my colleagues. I can tell they try their best to be fair to both the teachers and the students. Each teacher has their own style, and the studio is very accommodating to each student's learning needs. No matter what instrument you want to play or what genre you're interested in playing, I'm sure you'll be able to find someone to help you at Neighbour Note!

My daughter has been attending lessons with John for over a year now and we’re so pleased with her introduction to music lessons. He has an incredible amount of patience and especially experience. He always keeps her busy and engaged with various musical instruments. We’re looking forward to continuing our lesson’s for our children for years to come!

I’m an adult student currently taking piano lessons with one of the teachers at Greater Toronto Music. My teacher is highly qualified, respectful, and always punctual. The staff at Greater Toronto Music are also very responsive and professional. I’ve had a great experience so far and would highly recommend them.

I had a great experience with Greater Toronto music school. Learning music is one of my passion and favourite hobby. Believe to yourself and you can do it. With the help of teacher Justin, I learned a lot with the right notes and how to read the notes correctly and play the notes properly.
