YORK RECREATION CENTRE REVIEWS
I swim at the pool every day for about 6 months now. I plan on doing so for years to come. The front desk staff greet me with a smile and a kind word every single day which is a wonderful way to start. The lifeguards are very personable and always find a moment to answer any questions I have. The facilities from the pool to locker rooms are excellent.
I didn't know that Toronto had no fee recreation centres. This is a beautiful place with art and exercise studios, weightlifting equipment, a swimming pool and art by the community. There are plenty of places to meet with friends or wait for your friend or family member. Spacious parking and close to transit.
Fantastic facility and classes! Instructors are passionate and one of the best. A godsend facility for the community. Thank you to the staff that makes this an amazing place for adults and kids alike!

JIMMIE SIMPSON RECREATION CENTRE REVIEWS
I've always visited the park during different times of the day. I also enjoyed the tennis courts at least once a week in the summer. Yesterday, was my first time in the recreation centre and I was impressed. It's got a gathering for every sport, the place is clean and tidy. There's a lot of action that doesn't show from the street level. I'll be back to explore my options in a higher level of detail at a later date. Lots of residents in the area frequent centre, from pingpong, basketball, skateboarding to swimming everyone can find their groove.
Great big grass areas to play sports in or relax with friends. It is a big dog area so expect to see many people with dogs. 2 Tennis courts, Basketball pad, soccer field and many more sports related activities here. In the North area there is a play stucture for smaller children with sand.
Played on the outdoor rink a few weeks ago during a warm evening. Women's shinny time. Only had brief interactions with the young staff. Nice people. Had a great time.

NORTH TORONTO MEMORIAL COMMUNITY CENTRE REVIEWS
Great community centre in my neighborhood. I enjoy their lane swim in their clean pool with adjoins showers and change room. I also use their gym for badminton and pickle ball drop in play. Their gym is also well equipped at affordable fees.
The place is great. The change rooms (both gendered and non-binary) are very clean and spacious. The showers are always warm and so is the outdoor pool! They keep the place very clean, and have a few chairs by the pool deck to relax in. It's not a huge pool by any means, and the outdoor slide is still out of order (it was also out of order last summer, 2022) but it's still a great pool...and Yonge and Eg are super close, so if you need to feed your kids and get hungry yourself there are lots of options. My mom enjoys it because she's older and it doesn't have steps to get in, just a gentle slope.
This community Center is one of its kind. The layout is very unique. I couldn’t believe that parking here is only $1, considering it is so close to the busy Yonge Eglinton junction. The amenities here are new and they have tons of stuff for all ages, right from babies to the elderly of the community. The Yoga and Pilates instructor is amazing. Can just drop in for a workout anytime which is in the gym.
