“Dr. Eduard Bercovici completed his medical studies in neuroscience at the University of Toronto and performed electroencephalograms. He did a master's thesis in the neuropharmacology of epilepsy and finished his epilepsy fellowship at the Toronto Western Hospital. He had a particular interest in diet therapy for epilepsy during his training. Dr. Bercovici specializes in the ketogenic diet for refractory epilepsy. He works hard to deliver excellent neurological care to his patients and the community. He has devoted himself to the community by involving patient groups and talking to them about different facets of epilepsy care. Dr. Bercovici participates in ongoing research in epilepsy and proudly offers telemedicine services. He practices at the Southern Ontario Epilepsy Clinic, which has a talented team that works hard to reduce patients' stress and worries associated with seizures or epilepsy.
2025 Update: Dr. Bercovici is affiliated with the University of Toronto as a lecturer/clinician teacher and currently sits on the board of Epilepsy South Central Ontario and of Matthews’ Friends. He has hospital privileges at Toronto Western Hospital and Toronto General Hospital.”
