“Dr. Duong Nguyen is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon and sports medicine specialist. He trained at one of Canada's most respected orthopedic surgical programs at the University of Western Ontario. Dr. Duong Nguyen performs shoulder, elbow, and joint arthroscopic and reconstructive surgeries. He focuses on anterior cruciate ligament tears and optimizing surgical outcomes for anterior cruciate ligament reconstructions. He teaches sports medicine to orthopedic surgeons in training from the University of Toronto and primary care/sports medicine physicians from McMaster University. He is also a certified Advanced Trauma Life Support instructor for physicians and surgeons at St. Michael's Hospital and Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre. He is an orthopedic sports medicine consultant for regional and national athletic organizations. Dr. Nguyen recently won the J.C. Kennedy Award for Excellence in Sports Medicine Research given by the Sports Medicine Section of the Ontario Medical Association.

He practices at Nguyen Sports Medicine. He is a certified Medical Legal Expert (CMLE) and also certified in Catastrophic Impairment (CAT) Evaluation (CSME/CAPDA).”
