Dr. Anthony Michael Kaufmann completed his medical education at the University of Manitoba School of Medicine and his neurosurgery residency. Additionally, he completed his Master of Science in Surgery. Dr. Anthony Michael Kaufmann is clinically interested in treating cranial nerve disorders, cerebrovascular disease/stroke, and cranial base microsurgeries. He was a proud member of the "Stroke Team" at the Pittsburgh Stroke Institute and maintains a special interest in cranial nerve disorders and microvascular decompression surgery. Dr. Anthony Michael Kaufmann accepted the position of Associate Professor in the Section of Neurosurgery at the University of Manitoba. He actively serves on the Medical Advisory Board for the Hemifacial Spasm Association and the Acoustic Neuroma Association of Canada, and he is a Medical Advisor for the Trigeminal Neuralgia Association.
