“Dr. Anthony Michael Kaufmann completed his medical education at the University of Manitoba School of Medicine and his neurosurgery residency. Additionally, he completed his Master of Science in Surgery. Dr. Anthony Michael Kaufmann is clinically interested in treating cranial nerve disorders, cerebrovascular disease/stroke, and cranial base microsurgeries. Dr. Kauffman saved my life, after performing an emergent craniotomy to remove a very large brain meningioma causing me to have intracranial pressure and lots of other symptoms. Him and his team performed a 6 hour surgery and he was able to remove the entire tumour. He kept my family members calm before and after the procedure, and explained everything. I am currently living a full life as a woman in my 30s with children and a career. Without his amazing care, I don’t know if I would be. Thank you Dr. Kaufmann!!

I encountered Dr. Kaufmann when he was at UPMC in Pittsburgh, PA. I had two craniotomies in one year to remove a fourth ventricle apendymoma. Dr. Kaufmann and his staff were very professional and spent time to get to know the patient. I was very impressed with this man. I have no idea how anyone can rail against this man. My current neurologist has viewed the films and told me it was a remarkable surgery. This man saved my life and treated me with the utmost respect. I am appalled at the negative ratings. If you are unhappy, send him back to the states. Thank you, Dr. Kaufmann.

Dr. Silvaggio has been my neurosurgeon for quite some time. He is a very well respected and skilled surgeon. Thank you for giving my life back to me, much respect - CM.

Dr Silvaggio performed a L-4 Laminectomy on my spine with great results. The next day after surgery I got out of bed and the pain was gone after suffering for over five months with terrible pain in my lower back and left leg. Two months later still no pain it's like a miracle I can't thank him enough.

Man saved my life and removed a 4.5cm olingdroglioma from my head. I'm now going to get to see my sons graduate.

Dr Silvaggio performed a L_4 Laminectomy on me Dec 15th 2023 It has been 2 months since my surgery and I'm doing great. Before seeing Dr Silvaggio I met with 3 other doctors,2 Physios one acupuncture doctor, one chiropractor. Plus a couple of emergency visits to the hospital. They kept telling me that it was sciatic nerve pain and that I needed rest and wasn't a candidate for a MRI. After suffering with this pain for more than 5 months I went to a private clinic in Calgary and got a MRI on my own. After Dr Silvaggio seen the MRI he told me what my problem was and that he could fix it with surgery. Ten days later he did the surgery the next day I was up and walking and the pain was gone. I have met with Dr Berrington 3 times in the past 8 months: first at the surgical consult, again at the time of my discectomy surgery at L5-S1, and just today for my post-op follow up. I have found him to be knowledgeable, friendly and helpful, answering my questions and seeming genuinely interested in how I have been doing since surgery. It has been 9 weeks post-op, and my pain levels have largely improved. He said he would like me to check back in 3 months, as he would like to see me completely relieved of my pain issues. The nurses and office staff are also friendly and helpful.

DR Neil Berrington gave me a new lease on life without chronic pain he performed L5-S1 spinal fusion surgery on me on june 10 this year. Also thank you Debbie and staff for helping me true this . I highly recommend him and his staff they are good caring people. thank you from north manitoba.

I met him once, have not had surgery though. Explained the procedure and asked to see me again before scheduling surgery, if I decide to proceed. I found him to helpful and understanding. As well as truthful as some of my questions he could not give answers for as he did not know long term affects so I appreciated knowing this. His secretary was very kind!!!
