“Dr. David Hedden completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at the University of Cape Town in 1984. He also completed his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Manitoba and attained a Clinical Fellowship in Adult Reconstruction and Trauma at the University of Toronto. Dr. David Hedden joined the Department of Surgery, section of Orthopedic Surgery, in 1998 as an assistant professor. He then went on to an internship at Addington Hospital, Natal University Medical School, South Africa, with rotations in Obstetrics and Gynecology, Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, and Medicine. He takes care of each patient and helps them recover from orthopedic-related disorders.

2025 Update: He practices at Concordia Joint Replacement Group. The clinic consists of four fellowship-trained arthroplasty surgeons who perform approximately 1,400 primary and revision hip and knee replacements per year at the Concordia Hospital in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. They offer a friendly work environment with an excellent working relationship among all staff and surgeons.”
