ROYAL ALBERTA MUSEUM

Very neat and well maintained. Nice place for kids as well. Prepare to spend at least half day to read the content at each place. However, there is no water source to drink once entering into the gates at front desk. At least one water fountain inside would be very useful. I understand inside the rooms it's not allowed but at least in the corridors they should have kept one.

This museum is fascinating for the whole family. It is spacious, air-conditioned, and each exhibit can take up to an hour to explore. There is so much to learn from the interactive displays. If you are bringing children, the family pass is the most economic way to pay for admission. And definitely check out the kids' exhibit as a last stop before you leave, your little ones will thank you.

A great local museum! The kids zone is so wonderful to bring the littles. I visited quite often with my daughter while I was on maternity leave. There are lots of different levels & sensory things to explore. And then the rest of the museum is also wonderful! Bright, spacious, clean and informative! The building is wheelchair accessible. Parking is the only downside ... you get what you get in/around the building downtown.
