A wonderful and quiet place in the heart of the city with a variety of views and sports. Lush green lawn, basketball courts, a wide range of watersport activities, beautiful trails and lot more. If you are a peace loving person who likes to prefer quite place with nice views, you won't be disappointed either. Very well planned and maintained park.
Nice beach front in Barrie city, every year during the civic holiday in August, they have the Kempenfest festival and it is such a nice weekend long event. Nice concerts, food, crafts and much more!

Absolutely love this place. It’s a great place to bring the family. The trails are well maintained and clean. Its so beautiful to walk and explore, they’re is also an amazing park and lots of open area for kids to play. The open areas, beautiful flowers, plants and trees make this a must go place in the summer.
This expansive green space inside the city of Barrie is one reason to visit the city (and great spot for locals). It has spaces to play, walk, picnic, and is dog friendly. Well worth a walk about here!
It's a beautiful park to spend time with your kids. Lots of fun equipments that you do not find normally. Kids would definitely enjoy the park.

MINET'S POINT PARK REVIEWS
This is a well maintained public park. Pay for parking is in effect. Although this park is posted dog free, many people ignore this. Nice beach area and kid friendly. Camping, fires, and cooking are prohibited. Shallow entry into the lake makes swimming enjoyable. The safe swimming area is well marked. This beach does not have lifeguards.
Wonderful place to kite. Friendly surfers there. Always a good time! Nice clean washrooms too and Joy’s convenience store around the corner serves cheap and great ice cream!
Great little gem in Barrie. If you wanna watch a sunset this is a great place to be.
