Indian Battle Park offers various amenities such as fire pits, the fenced Elks picnic site, and the Baroness picnic shelter. The park has the newest natural-themed playground, consisting of a climbing wall, the rattlesnake play area, a spider web pathway, swings, and the beaver lodge. The park also features historical attractions like Medicine Stone, Coal Banks Kiosk, information on the Incline Railway and the High-Level Bridge. Indian Battle Park has several river access spots in the park used for tubing, canoeing, and fishing.

2025 Update: The 150-acre (0.61 km2) park is located on the east bank of the Oldman River just below Downtown Lethbridge. It is bordered by Whoop-Up Drive to the south and Highway 3 to the north. The park is home to Fort Whoop-Up, Helen Schuler Nature Centre and the High Level Bridge.

2025 Update: Legacy Regional Park is the first major regional park on the north side. The park spans 73 acres and is designed for people to play, relax and connect with their community. The park is home to many different activities and amenities, including a playground, challenge course, and over 6 km of paved and natural trails. Visitors can enjoy facilities such as basketball courts and pickleball courts. The south western portion of the park is home to quieter activities, areas for enjoying quiet reflection at the ponds and wetland, ornamental gardens, and a belvedere lookout. The north eastern side of the park is home to the activity hub, which is where you can find sports courts, a skateboard park, picnic shelters, a spray park, a discovery playground and a community pavilion.
