My Dad was very fortunate to stay with Chartwell Eau Claire and I can not thank the team there enough for their professional, kind and caring approach. He/We felt right at home the minute I met with Alexa who made the move in seamless and stress free! Sadly my Dad is gone now but I know he felt loved and very well taken care of at the Chartwell as he told me so nearly ever day I really trusted the staff here and they were all SO friendly and happy you can tell they really like working here. Also the location of this place is amazing for walks by the river and lunch at serval great restaurants just right across the street! It does not feel like a hospital or care home facility it just feels like a nice downtown condo with the extra care and attention one might need as they age. Would highly recommend.

We are very pleased with our decision to relocate my mother and father to Chartwell Eau Claire. The level of care is absolutely amazing. The staff responds to any and all questions in a very professional manner and with a clinical care coordinator who is an RN assigned to just 3 floors of the building, there is never any lag time to get questions answered concerning my parents’ needs. Staff is also available to administer my parents’ medications and attend to their requirements as well. My parents had been at another facility previously, and the difference in service is dramatic. Additionally, Alberta Home Care has personnel embedded within the facility, which makes any requests for outside services seamless. I would not hesitate to recommend Chartwell Eau Claire to anyone who is looking for Supportive Living services.

I am immensely proud to be a member of this team. The passion and dedication that each staff member brings to their role is inspiring. It is evident that we all share a common goal of creating a vibrant and inclusive community that our residents can truly call home.

My sister and I moved our mom to Calgary from Winnipeg, where she had lived in her own little home until 90. She needed to be close to family, and being very independent, was able to be accommodated in one of Sage Hill's Independent Living suites. As time progressed, and she needed more assistance, it was provided with care and dignity. We cannot say enough about the kindness and friendliness of the staff....everyone from the receptionist to the handyman, the bus driver who drove the "scenic tours", the dining room staff who remembered her favourites, but especially Samantha, the director, and her most excellent staff. This is a welcoming and caring home for our loved ones....with excellent attention to safety and health. This was a stressful year and a half, and the measures they put in place early on gave us all peace of mind. We simply could not have had our mom in a better place. Thank you to everyone there.

I want to thank everyone at Sage Hill for the excellent care they have given my parents in the year and a half they have lived here. I can't remember everyone's name but special thanks to Sam, Paula, Connie and Saeeda for their support. This is such a warm community. My father passed away recently and everyone here was so kind. They allowed us to have the funeral service in the chapel and it was so nice for my Mom to be among her friends here. I recommend Sage Hill to all those families trying to find the best place for their loved ones during their senior years. By the way, the food is amazing! I always like to have an excuse to eat with my Mom.

I have the honour of working for such a wonderful place. When hired I felt very welcomed into the Sage Hill family. There is never a dull moment. Activities here are some of the best I've seen in most retirement communities. There is a variety activities for all kinds of people, and the volunteers we have here, I believe have made a wonderful addition to our family. All departments have worked hard to make this place what it is!
