3 Best Roofing Contractors in Nanaimo, BC

We recently went through the challenge of replacing our large roof. After requesting estimates from three major local contractors, we settled for Best on Top Roofing. Dan was our contact. He responded promptly and explained what needed to be done and why. We were pleased how things were handled when a couple of unexpected challenges arose. Throughout the whole process, we were kept informed, and work progressed quickly, professionally and on time. We are very happy with the final result, and we highly recommend Best on Top Roofing.

Dan was very accommodating and personable.! Came to my work and showed me samples. Was literally able to start the job 2 days after deciding. The installers were thorough and diligent And did not cut corners. Really feel as though they went over and above. Roof looks incredible! What highly recommend! (Customer Troy Harder).

Dan goes above and beyond with his service and attitude. Matt, who installed the roof, did an excellent job. Matt told us he'd give us the nicest roof on the block. He did! Thank you Matt. Thank you Dan. Randy & Cathie Mayovsky

Dan responded quickly to my urgent request to replace a vent cover. He contacted Matt who was within 20 kms and replaced the vent cover within 2 hrs. Matt and his helper were friendly, knowledgeable and efficient - Glenn H Reply

There were a lot of excellent points to working with Best on Top. Dan answered the phone immediately, we were scheduled for the very next day, the guys showed up with everything they needed, and the whole thing took less than 45 minutes even in the wet winter weather. Very pleasant workers, great attitude and very professional work. I will not hesitate to work with them again - Leon Reply

After several months of frustration over conflicting roof inspections and high cost estimates, we finally found Best on Top Roofing. Unlike another companies that gave us estimates from $22,000 to $36,000 based on false claims about our roof's age and condition, this company provided an honest assessment. They gave us a report, with pictures: the only company of the 3 we contacted and the potential purchaser’s company that did. They confirmed what we suspected all along: our roof is in moderate condition with minor shingle wear, has no leaks, and does not need to be replaced anytime soon. What a difference between an unnecessary $36,000 replacement cost for an alleged 'poor condition' roof and no change required because the roof is actually in good condition. Due to an honest evaluation! We've had similar bad experiences with contractors before. As retirees, we want to warn others to be extremely cautious and diligent about who they hire and trust. Dan, Steve, David and Jonathan were very easy to communicate with, were patient and treated us with respect. We highly recommend Best on Top Roofing and their staff for their professionalism, respect, and most important, their honesty! - Ted B. Reply
