3 Best Tree Services in Richmond, BC

I'm adding to my review (below) to say that Franz and his crew did an excellent job again for us. The hard winter did a bit of damage to our Southern Magnolia so that got a good trim and our heritage Birch is now less dangerous without all the hanging branches. We totally trust Franz to keep our trees and shrubs in great shape.... here's last years review: Our yard looks so good and Franz was very knowledgeable about our trees and what pruning they needed. Initially he showed up real quickly to do an estimate and the work proceeded on schedule and smoothly. Franz was cool with me getting over involved in which branches to cut LOL. I will continue to work with them thru the seasons!

Franz and Martin are just excellent and working with Ash Grove Tree Solutions is highly recommended. We had tree trimmings and one tree that needed to be taken down after discovering that it was diseased. Franz was able to get approval for a city permit to take down the tree, no easy feat. The process was very smooth and Martin (with an assistant) were impressive with taking down the tree with great care and left everything tidy and clean. Looking forward to working with Ash Grove Tree Solutions again.

I am giving them five stars because I don't wanna be mean and ruin their track record, but I was quite surprised by how aggressively they pruned back my backyard trees. These guys are good at what they do, but please prepare yourself in that they are heavy handed and take a lot off. Would recommend for restoration pruning, tree removal and similar, but not for crown raising.

I highly recommend Franz and his team for high quality work. We recently had our neglected cherry tree shaped and trimmed by the team at Ash Grove. The entire process, from Franz coming over to provide an estimate, to his team doing a great job with the tree and clean up after, all went smoothly. Unfortunately I do not know the names of the two young men who did the work, but they are both really nice guys who were knowledgeable and professional. The estimate provided by Franz was reasonable compared to one other quote I got. I will certainly use the services of Ash Grove for any future tree work. - Pat O Reply

Highly recommend! They did an excellent job trimming up a couple very large trees for us. The trees look great, they got the job done quickly, and had all the appropriate safety gear. They also did a fantastic job cleaning up afterwards! Would definitely use them again.

Sandy and his crew performed a difficult tree removal for me , safely and professionally, for a great price . I was very impressed . Highly recommend this company .
