I love the Ottawa Art Gallery so much! They always have the most unique and diverse and beautiful exhibitions of art. They also showcase cultural art for example: their current cultural exhibition is Japanese art by Norman Takeuchi which I absolutely loved. I really recommend going there. We held our wedding here in September and we couldn't have asked for a better venue. It's a stunning building with incredible, historic details. They're always featuring talented local artists, and the owners are absolutely lovely, accommodating people. Whether you're looking at this as an event venue or just wanting to pop into a beautiful gallery, you really can't go wrong here.
Great venue! Had an incredible night with Artizen Kombucha raising funds for Sweet Sanctuary - an animal rescue.

NATIONAL GALLERY OF CANADA REVIEWS
I would like to really recommend this place to people. First of all, you can look at the parliament building in a good location. Secondly, this museum has a variety of artworks. Especially, I really liked that this museum had a lot of paintings by famous artists, but not necessarily their most famous works. It made me realize that these artists had also created such paintings, and I really enjoyed being able to see their less well-known works.
Absolutely gorgeous! It's a must-go-to place in Ottawa. If you have only a little amount of time to spend inside I'd suggest not to go at all. The paintings and other items are really beautiful and interesting to look at and you would need the entire day to properly go through e everything.
Incredible art and experience. Plan your visit in such a manner that you can spend a lot of time learning and exploring the art in the museum. Huge collection, very well maintained.
