We visited and the place is full of snow.. still enjoyed walking around the park and was able to snap beautiful photos of the locks, counted 8 of them from where we were standing. Also got an amazing photo of the frozen River. It is both our 1st times here in Ottawa and we are very impressed how beautiful the city is! We are already planning our next visit in the summer.

I always try to make it a point to come and visit this park whenever I have friends of family from out of town. It is a nice park to just sit and enjoy your lunch however the fountain also provides some information on our city's past. This is also the location during the winter where the international ice sculpture competition is held.
