This place is best described by the word cool . The Canadian War Museum is a large collection of artifacts from throughout the history of the country's army. Expect to see lots of guns, uniforms, posters. plaques, medals, and much more. However, the crown jewel of this museum is the collection in the basement. That is where they keep all of their vehicles. I am talking about a massive collection of all manner of tanks, planes, bikes, cars, and much more.

I went here with my wife, kids ages 7, 5, and 2, and their grandparents. This is a fabulous natural history museum and probably my favorite I've ever been to. It's curated in a way so that it's accessible to children but there's useful information for adults. There is plenty of interactive parts to the exhibits, and they always seem to be in great working order.

As a fan of both military planes and space exploration this museum was perfect! There is a great selection of aircraft, both military and civilian, and the layout is fantastic. Exhibits are arranged by decade/war and are surrounded by plenty of learning exhibits which are entertaining for adults as well as children. The space exhibits, including the learning centre about the ISS, were fantastic and enthralling, again even for adults.
