MIDAS GUELPH REVIEWS

By far the best mechanic shop in Guelph! I’ve been coming here for about five years and get all my repairs done here. They patiently explain what service is required and make it a teachable experience for the customer. I’ve been shown under the hood for a leaking battery, wheels off to see worn brake pads and rotors. They have even recommended against services that aren’t necessary like a spark plug replacement. They pulled them out and showed me the lengths met specification and “in good faith” do not require replacement. Most importantly, they are a respectful team with excellent communication with customers by phone and in person. They’ve also reminded me about warranties I’ve forgotten about saving me money on my muffler replacement! If you’re looking for a reliable and honest garage, come here.

As a young woman owning her first car, finding a new shop to trust in a new city was very nerve racking, but the guys here make it easy and stress free to get all the car maintenance I need done! They’re super friendly, they don’t speak to me in a condensing way (like I’ve experienced at other shops), and they make everything easy to understand! You can tell they genuinely care about the safety of their customers and are 100% upfront about what needs to be done, and the cost of what it would be without being pushy or intimidating. I definitely won’t be going any where else.

Recently had my 2018 Ford F150 in for a bearing replacement. What an amazing and positive experience. Polite, attentive, friendly and a display of customer service I had never experienced in chain automotive service. Stephan (hope spelling is correct) was the epitome of professionalism. Correctly diagnosed the issues, gave me a quote and very importantly, the promised completion time was absolutely spot on. Right on time for a guy who has tight timelines. Very happy with the experience. Thanks Midas (Guelph).

VINNIE'S MR. FIXIT REVIEWS

"I've been dealing with Vinnie's for several years now and would recommend them to anyone. They are very honest and are willing to work to get you the best pricing on parts and material. The staff is very professional and are always working hard to provide excellent service as quickly as they can. KOODOOS to the entire team - always a pleasure to deal with. Thanks Vinnie's for all your hard work and dedication to great service".

I have been going to see Vinnie for the past 6-7 years. At that time I was just about fed up with mechanics and shops that wanted to rip me off. A friend referred me to Vinnie's and I haven't turned back since. The owner (Vinnie) is always friendly and knowledgeable. He and his staff treat each and every person who comes in with the upmost respect. They are honest, friendly and respected by many in our community. I won't go to anyone else with my cars again! Thanks for everything.

It's hard to trust someone you don't know with your car, but the guys, and girls, at Vinnies are top of the line. Very honest, and will do their best to help anyone out. I recommend them to anyone looking for a mechanic they can trust.

CAR LANE AUTO CENTRE REVIEWS

Excellent customer service and quality of work. I dealt with John most recently and he's been absolutely fantastic, a wealth of knowledge and takes the time to look things up and do the job right. I've dealt here for many years, mainly for exhaust and stainless work, but I've had some minor repair work done in the past as well. Good honest shop and I definitely recommend.

Fabulous folks! I was visiting guelph and my check engine light came on. Car Lane Auto was the closest mechanic shop and despite being super busy, Jess came out and quickly found the issue with my car and fixed it for me so I was able to get back on the road. Thank you so much!.

They are honest and straight forward. They tell you what you need and what can wait. Hard to find people you can trust but you can trust these guys. Quality repairs performed for fair prices.
