I was fortunate to have been introduced to Emily at a meeting for small business owners in Guelph. Her first impression must have been amazing because I invited her to our office to discuss interior design. She showed me her previous work and the depth of detail that she delves into for each project. I have even visited one of the restaurants for which she did the design and build and was blown away. My office is in the midst of huge growth and I will definitely be using Emily to design my new dream office.

Emily helped us with a big home renovation project and we couldn't be happier with her services, and the finished product. Having renovated a home without the help of a designer in the past I can absolutely say that Emily's expertise and great ideas gave us a home that suits us perfectly, and functions so much better than it would have if we'd attempted to do it on our own. We would certainly recommend her to anyone who is taking on a home renovation project!

We used Emily at CAKE for design drawings for an upcoming addition to our house. We are extremely happy we did as she was able to suggest many design features that we would never have thought of. Our house will function much better now with a flow and design we only could have had using Emily's expertise. She was very easy to work with and communication was always prompt. She was very accommodating in her services to fit our budget and was worth every penny. If you are thinking of building a new space or redesigning an old one, consider using CAKE to make your life a whole lot easier. Almost 13 years ago Karen came into our home to help my husband and I pick paint colours. Fast forward to this past summer when Karen (with Deb) came to our home to work with us to select new flooring, suggest furniture placement and paint colours for our primary bedroom and upstairs hallway. Karen and Deb helped us to create the bedroom of our Pinterest dreams. I had the distinct pleasure of working with Deb and Karen on some pretty profound updates to my home - two bathrooms, kitchen, stairs and some other features. They made the process very easy, coordinating all trades (they work with several fabulous trade companies) making beautiful design suggestions along the way. There were of course a few small hiccups as with any big job, but they went above and beyond to remedy and I’m so very happy with how everything came together.
