St. Thomas the Apostle Parish was established by His Eminence, Gerald Emmett Cardinal Carter, Archbishop of Toronto, on January 6, 1982. The church serves the community with many lectors, ushers, and musicians, celebrating liturgical events and confirmations, with one hundred individuals receiving their First Holy Communion. From serving thirty families, the church was expanded to accommodate the growing population of the parish community. The carols performed by the church are sung in multiple languages, reflecting its diverse cultural background. A steering committee was formed to oversee the construction of a new church building, which now serves as an excellent place for parishioners to celebrate masses and feasts. St. Thomas the Apostle Parish is now well-equipped with the resources to actively serve its community.

2025 Update: St. Thomas the Apostle Parish's first Pastor is Father Basil Breen.

Chinese Martyrs Parish is a national Catholic church for Chinese Catholics in the Greater Toronto area. The church's establishment was planned and approved by the Archbishop in 1987. The first mass was held at the Divine Infant Catholic School hall, and the first parish council was formed in April 1988, with approximately 200 parishioners attending at that time. Over the years, several committees were formed, including RCIA/C and Sunday School, to serve the community. As the number of parishioners increased, space became limited at the school hosting Sunday mass. In August 1989, a Parish Building Committee was established. The parish then borrowed space from Blessed Mother Teresa Catholic Secondary School as an alternative venue for masses. After years of fundraising, a new church with seating for 900 was completed. The church continues to serve the growing and expanding parish community with optimism and a dedicated spirit.

2025 Update: Chinese Martyrs Parish has a Children's Summer Camp run by a group of youths.
