“St. Patrick's Parish is one of the leading churches in Markham. The church's mission is to bring God's love into the world through a life-changing friendship with Jesus. The vision is to become a vibrant, loving community that lives for God and others. Their focus is to create excellence in worship through planning, alignment, and inspirational sermons with a clear message and call to action. The first mass was celebrated on September 23, 1855. By 1932, the church became a separate parish. By 1904, the church had twenty-two registered families. The current church was built between 1969 & 1970. Over 7500 families are registered to the church, and the visitor count is increasing gradually. St. Patrick's Parish brings God's love into the world through a life-changing friendship with Jesus. They make missionary disciples by creating opportunities for people to meet Jesus and grow in His ways.”
