We have had two dogs trained over the years at this facility and both experiences have been amazing! Yes they use ecollars but the are used with verbal commands. My dog gets excited to see it because she knows that it is time to go out. Hardly ever need to use it because verbal commands are so good. Sadly we rehomed a shepherd because he really needed a job (he herds cows now) but his new owners are very impressed with how well trained he is. If we ever get another dog this is where they will be coming!! We live in Alberta and would not hesitate to make the trip!
I have my beautiful 5 month old pup at the facility in the bootcamp program. I can't stress enough the importance in training your pup or dog. He also does hands on training with you and your dog together. It will make your life more pleasurable with your companion. You have to put all your trust in Fernando and let him do his work. I highly recommend Linda and Someday Retrievers Dog Training Academy! Our 11 month old rescue puppy stayed there for a week and it changed our lives! Our dog no longer pulls on the leash when out for walks, she heels off leash, she “leaves it” when asked, her recall is excellent and she is just generally more obedient. These are all things I didn’t think would be possible. Linda trained both us and our dog and it has drastically improved our relationship with our fur baby.
I have had two wonderful Labs from Someday Retrievers. Both were very intelligent, healthy and great family pets. I would only get a Lab from this kennel as nothing compares to the loving, wonderful dogs that are bred here. I have also had my dogs kennelled in their facility and trained. They came back as dogs that my friends and family love to be around. Thank you Linda and staff who love and care for each and every dog.

Jessie is an absolutely pleasure to work with! We have a very anxious dog, since we started doing private classes with Jessie we have noticed a significant difference in his behavior, inside and outside of the house. What I like best is that she really focuses on a plan that is right for your pup.
I've been doing the private puppy lessons and they've been so helpful for training my dog. I'm a first time puppy owner and there is a lot of conflicting information online, so it's great to have someone to talk to about my dog's specific needs. My puppy is getting better every day.
My dog absolutely LOVES his weekly hike with My Balanced Dog! He's nice and worn out when I get home from a long day of work. Staff and owner are knowledgable and friendly.
