My Mom recently passed and Sara Lawson, who is the General Manager, helped my sisters and I through this incredibly emotional process with great compassion, empathy and professionalism. Ashley Wilson was very helpful with the creation of the Celebration of Life pamphlet and ensured that the video of pictures my son in law created would work with their system. The service to celebrate the life of my Mom, Dorothy Rose Russell, was beautiful. Sara went above and beyond the duties required of her position, and we appreciate everything. Thank you so much for you guidance through this most difficult time.

Friendly staff took care of just about everything. Between shoening and the ministry, the process was far less stressful then it could have been. Thanks Claire for your help, and excellent work!

Dealing with the death of a loved one is a significantly traumatic event, and all I did was place a simple call, and absolutely everything was looked after for us. Kim was amazing with her compassionate, caring and knowledgeable advice, and Geoffrey was equally impressive with his follow up calls in Kim's absence. They kept us informed regularly, helped us with the necessary paperwork for coverages, and continued to provide us with support as we navigated the whole process. I would never wish anyone to experience the pain and anguish involved in a family death, but trust me, Cypress is the place to turn to during that time of need. I have nothing but praise to offer!

Recently our dad / father-in-law passes away. Years ago he had repurchased funeral/cremation services from Alternative / Cypress Funeral & Cremation Services in Kamloops. Honestly, I was a bit skeptical with whole pre-paid funeral services idea. Our experience was actually wonderful. Kim was caring, compassionate, and remarkably efficient. She helped us with every detail. The services and help she offered exceeded all expectations. Thanks Kim. Without hesitation, I recommend Kim and Cypress Funeral Services.

Since I am from out of town, I had to phone around to find a place to cremate my son. From the very first phone call, which was Geoffrey, he was so friendly and nice. I did not even phone anyone else and from then Kim was caring, helpful, and friendly, I would recommend cypress to anyone.

I had a bunch of estate related information I needed to attend to and it required info about a person who had their service at Kamloops Funeral Home in 2006. Amanda answered the phone and took care of all my questions and requirement, even digging through old dusty boxes of information to get me what I needed. Amazing customer service to hunt down records almost 20 years old. Highly recommended, not only because of this help, but also both of my grandparents were attended to by the facility.

When my girlfriend's father passed away, of course it was a tough time. The staff at Kamloops Funeral Home made everything so smooth considering the circumstances. Lawrence drove down to Chilliwack Hospital to get him and took phenomenal care of him. My girlfriend's mom felt taken care of in such a horrible time of her life. She wouldn't trust anyone else. It was the best choice they made getting Kamloops Funeral Home to take care of all the necessary arrangements. Natasha and Lawrence went above and beyond. They are very compassionate and empathetic. During a tragic and distraught time, they were the best company for the job. They treated her father like their own family. They made my girlfriend's family feel comforted and safe in a time of need. I would recommend Kamloops Funeral Home to anyone.
