“Wawanosh Wetlands Conservation Area is a natural area that covers 100 acres with walking trails, picnic areas, a pond for ducks and geese, and a memorial forest. This refuge is a sizable wetland providing a habitat for many plant and bird species, including migratory waterfowl. There are 2.5 kilometres of trails in this natural habitat area open year-round and managed by the St. Clair Conservation Authority. Wawanosh Wetlands Conservation Area offers access to the river valley's west side, where you can see many of the area's indigenous plants and animals.
