Irving House is the finest museum was built in 1865 for riverboat captain William Irving, and the house reflects the late Victorian/early Edwardian era. The Irving House was initially constructed with 14 furnished rooms in the colonial style, and the house has been preserved with repairs. When you visit, you'll see the fancy designs on the ceilings, the beautiful colours of the original wallpaper, and the detailed fireplaces. Additionally, you can easily imagine the festivities and celebrations that once took place in the parlour and formal dining room. Written tours are available in English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, German, Bengali, Mandarin, Japanese, Italian and Albanian.

2025 Update: Irving House is 4700 square feet, built with a brick foundation and wooden construction. Irving House is a Gothic Revival style building.
