3 Best Places To See in New Westminster, BC

I'm a professional magician and I am more than happy to say this is the very best magic performance I have ever seen ... and I have seen a lot of great magical performances. Shawn Farquhar is the model magician all of us other magicians strive to emulate. The venue is entertaining and the seating ideal (no bad seats in the house). Shawns's timing, showmanship and audience engagement is delightfully spot on. The entire audience is captivated and spellbound by his master performance ... and beyond that ... EVERY SHOW IS DIFFERENT! Can you tell I loved it.

The experience was great. The magician is wonderful - he is excellent at his craft - best show I have seen. Very intimate venue. One thing that I asked the host to sit our boys further to the front as they cannot see anything in the back they had to stand up most of the show…. They said the first 2 rows are for VIPs. Fair enough, but for little kids paying full price and not able to sit closer to the front and blocked by very tall adults was not a great experience for them. I did request that for the seating host, but really the request was ignored. That’s the only thing we wish it could be different for our children. Other children that are taller were seated in the front. Otherwise - the main act - he is just amazing.

Had a fantastic experience at Hidden Wonders! We will certainly be back for another show. Not only is Shawn a mind-blowing magician, he is a consummate storyteller. The atmosphere is crafted from the moment you step in the door and is maintained throughout the entire evening. This is not just a magic show; it’s an experience, and a unique one. Highly recommend the VIP seats for a front-row view.

Massey Theatre is a charming historic venue that offers an intimate live-performance experience with excellent acoustics and clear sightlines. The theatre hosts a diverse range of concerts, musicals, dance productions, and community events, making it an important cultural landmark in New Westminster. Staff are generally helpful and audience comfort is clearly a priority. While recent renovation work has created temporary inconveniences related to parking, access, and facilities, most visitors still find the quality of performances and the atmosphere well worth the visit.

Absolutely amazing every single time!!! I've seen 2 shows here now and I can not believe how incredibe the talent is here. Just saw Shrek this weekend and it was PHENOMENAL!!!! A must see for all ages.

We found ourselves in town from the states and my wife stumbled on this show that was taking place. It was the 17th annual Vancouver BC Choir festival. We were BLOWN AWAY by how much fun this was and how good they were. Amazing performances. So happy we came. Don’t miss this group.
