The park features decorative black metal picket fencing, three accessible entrance gates, a three-season water fountain, and two picnic tables and Wheelchair Accessible is also available. “Hume Park is a picturesque picnic area that covers over 31.72 acres of land. The park offers a variety of amenities, including open spaces, a baseball diamond, an off-leash dog area, playground equipment, a picnic shelter, a grass field, three tennis courts, and access to the Brunette River and Brunette-Fraser path. The park features a large adventure play structure designed for up to 60 children between the ages of 5 and 12. The new, attractive rubber surface is designed to withstand various weather conditions, requires minimal maintenance, and offers excellent traction for children playing around the new water features.

2025 Update: Hume Park Picnic Shelter includes 2 picnic tables (2 wheelchair accessible), a Water fountain, a Washroom facility, a Garbage receptacle and Power. A trail that offers access to a beautiful river, parkland and forest filled with trails.”

QUEEN'S PARK REVIEWS

Queen's Park has all of the amenities, including playing fields, an arena, a kids' water park, and much more. It's a good place for family or group picnics. Free parking is available. Restrooms: Universal Dog-friendliness: There's a play area for dogs. Picnic area: Covered picnic tables near the washroom.

Pretty place. Nice water playground for the kids. Lots of trees. Amazing place to hide from the heat. They also have a concession stand and public washrooms. The parking lot could be bigger considering the "capacity" of the park.

Great park, beautiful rose garden. Water area for the kids to cool off. Washroom facilities & snack bar. Sun, shade and everything you need for a day relaxing in the park.

MOODY PARK REVIEWS

Nice and big park in New Westminster. Loads of activities for kids and all for adults as well. Even a separate play area for dogs. Table tennis, swing, slider, seesaw, water fountain for kids, football ground, swimming pools, basket ball and tennis court. Baseball ground as well. Also dawn till dusk washroom too. Playground: Football ground, basketball court, tennis court, baseball ground etc. Restrooms: Dawn till dusk. Dog-friendliness: Play area for pets (especially dogs). Picnic area: Play area for kids (swing, seesaw, sliders, small basketball court, and many more).

The park and pool are always clean. Barbeque, off-leash dog area and swimming area are well separated. Comfortable walking paths. Restrooms clean and handicap accessible Close to shopping as well.

Was a nice park. Was there for the National Indigenous day pow wow. Playground was decent. Had nice and shady areas which was great because it was HOT.

HUME PARK REVIEWS

Great place for kids, ok number of park spots, you can park in some different streets within walking distance. The water park is cool for kids, and the water is super cold(as usual in all water parks in BC). The kids park is cool too, there is a dog area, just be aware some people leave the dog off leash out of the dogs, so pay attention to it. Playground: The playground is great for kids, nice and not dangerous for the kids. Restrooms: Small restroom but it was clean. Picnic area: Just a few tables, but lots of space to bring your own thing.

A pretty big park with playground, splash park, pool, field, and lots of space for picnics. Because of its soft flooring in the splash park area, Hume park has one of the best and safest splash parks for toddlers and small kids. Good place for family picnics but you might need to bring your own shade.

Beautiful park with a little something for everyone - splash pad, pool, playground, baseball diamond. Great place to spend a day relaxing outdoors.
