Waterloo Public Library is dedicated to serving the community with a primary focus on nurturing and meeting the literacy requirements of the citizens of Waterloo. In its early stages, the library operated with a subscription fee for users, channelling these funds into acquiring additional books and shelves. A diverse range of programs tailored for children, teenagers, and adults, along with bookable study rooms, are provided by the library at no cost. The main branch has amenities like a VHS converter and complimentary WiFi access. The library team takes pride in their extensive collection, encompassing DVDs, Music CDs, graphic novels, and ebooks. Recognizing the needs of those facing visual and physical challenges, or enduring long-term illnesses, the library facilitates the delivery of library materials to their doorstep. This inclusive approach ensures that everyone can access the library's resources regardless of their circumstances. The Waterloo Public Library encompasses three additional branches that operate under the auspices of the main library. These branches diligently extend their services to non-commercial groups, offering print and digital resources catering to their unique needs.

WATERLOO PUBLIC LIBRARY REVIEWS
Impressive library. I'm used to the St Jacobs library which is small but good, this one is giant. The kids section even had books in Spanish and we were able to find books on anything we wanted. Service was excellent too! It was also surprising to see they have board games and even a VHS converter.
Always a great spot to bring our daughter. The kids section is always tidy and has fun activities like coloring, story time, activity mats, some toys and a seasonally relevant svmcavenger hunt. The washroom here has a tiny toilet which is SO appreciated.
Child Friendly, stroller accessible. The staff is knowledgeable, kind and helpful!

Brubacher House is a museum that showcases the home life of Mennonite pioneers in Waterloo County during the 19th century. The historic house was built in 1850 using fieldstone and Pennsylvania German architectural style. The University of Waterloo Faculty of Environment has campaigned to preserve and restore the old Mennonite farmhouses on the campus, and by 1975, Brubacher House was rebuilt and given heritage designation. The tour started in the 1980s, and visitors can park in the small adjacent parking lot and walk to the University of Waterloo. Additionally, you can participate in an Artist-in-Residence program, book event space for your private event, and experience the digital exhibit and life upstairs.

BRUBACHER HOUSE REVIEWS
Located in beautiful Columbia lake park. It has a nice beginner's 9 hole disc golf course, hence the five stars. The park is picturesque and gets used for all kinds of stuff like walking, running/jogging, walking dogs, picnics, soccer, ultimate frisbee, baseball(at the diamond), sitting at one of the many benches to read and I've even seen people slack lining, etc.,etc. When the lake freezes over people play pond hockey too. The Brubacher house is over a century old and does tours too. The park is maintained by the University of Waterloo.
Great location at the end of the street, behind a building - parking lot. The building is a beautiful heritage house! Inside very cozy and nice - rock walls in the basement, brick floor, fireplace. First floor is full with heritage objects.
Brubacher House was interesting and lots of historic information about the Mennonite community.
