“RIM Park offers outdoor and indoor amenities on the northeast side. The center includes the indoor multi-use Manulife Sportsplex and Healthy Living Centre, funded by Manulife Financial. RIM Park features four Olympic-sized ice pads (100' x 200') with 20 large dressing rooms with showers, two international-sized turf fields, and four natural grass fields, all with lighting. The centre also has an ice rink, fitness facilities, basketball courts, and soccer pitches. RIM Park provides a wide range of recreational activities and programs and offers snacks and soft drinks for visitors. RIM Park provides free parking.

2025 Update: There is also a food court and a Library. Unlimited-hour parking is available at no charge, and the parking lot is large and wheelchair accessible.”

RIM PARK REVIEWS

Beautiful glass art, and huge plants in the main hall. 3 hockey rinks. An ice dance rink. A restaurant. Good refs. I was there for the hockey tournament in December. Entered the raffle, and won!!! I haven’t been to this rink since my daughter played when she was 6. There are definitely good people running this place. Definitely take a chance and grab raffle tickets when your there. Good luck.

Always have a good time at RIM. I’ve been here several times for volleyball tournaments over the years. Very clean, always something to watch, concession is fair priced, like that there is a restaurant/bar area to have a bite to eat or a drink at as well. Brilliant sports plex as everything can be accessed without having to go outside to another building. Excited to come back for Provincials.

Absolutely massive spots complex. Went here for a volleyball tournament and all on-site parking was full (even though the parking lot itself is massive). Ample off-site parking with free shuttle bus is available when on-site is maxed out though, so very well planned out to accommodate larger events like this.

WATERLOO MEMORIAL RECREATION COMPLEX REVIEWS

Great facility and very welcoming staff. Pool is wonderful for kids and adults! We do kids splash a lot and really enjoy ourselves. Some life guards are friendlier than others but that's ok! Fun to watch other programs happening when we are swimming such as diving lessons, water fitness classes and lane swimming. Everyone has their own sections and don't interfere with one another. Great place!

I went to the Waterloo Recreation Center for a meeting in one of the upper level rooms. The room was considered their smallest, yet, it could easily hold 12 people. There were chairs and tables and a whiteboard on a wall. Large window faced the parking lot and Barrel yards apartments. I'd use this again for a meeting room.

Good place ! Really appreciate the personnel to be able to help and make this place clean . Swimming lessons are very important and young athletes provide great experience for younger kids. Thank you.

They did a good job with the new renovations, save for a few design flaws (such as the bank-ball area getting flooded with water when the splash pad is on). Ultimately, it's a nice addition for the community and a cool place to bring the kids for an hour.

Really wonderful programs, my mom enjoyed the conversation circles during her decline from Alzheimers and we felt lucky to be able to provide that type of external social activity.

Excellent host for the AAA hockey tournament. Lots of parking, clean, and well managed. Players were happy with the Ice too! Thank you and appreciated. Looking forward to the next tour!
