“Waterloo Park has a lake, an animal farm, a splash pad, picnic areas, sports fields, and playgrounds. Waterloo Park has over 111 acres of land. The park has a silver lake and Laurel Creek, a farmstead with various animals, a single-net basketball court, Victorian-style gardens, public art and large harvest-style picnic tables. This park also has many nice walking trails that wind through the park. The Propane BBQs are permitted in rented picnic areas, except the east gazebos. It is the best spot to enjoy. Visitors can get free wifi facilities throughout the park. Also, free vehicle parking is available in Waterloo Park.

2025 Update: Waterloo Park has wifi service at the baseball diamonds and the skate park.”

WATERLOO PARK REVIEWS

The park has been revitalized and the preservation and opening of the old school house is fantastic! Love the staff there, providing information on the heritage and family surrounding this historical building. History is important, the good and bad. That is how we learn and remind ourselves of what not to repeat.

Wonderful place to spend a day. Playground: Excellent kids area. Restrooms: Just around the corner from playground. Dog-friendliness: On a leash. Picnic area: A good 200 picnic tables throughout the park.

A tranquil spot for a quiet afternoon by the water. Ideal for leisurely walks.

GREEN ACRE PARK REVIEWS

Went there on a bike trip when every other nearby place wasn't even open for summer season yet or refused cyclists, and we were welcomed with open arms, given a place to set camp immediately and found the place clean quiet and organized. They even have a music hall with events for the weekend. The place has hot showers, laundry rooms amd pretty much anything else we could need on the spot. 10/10 will brag about this place, and will absolutely come back if i'm in the area.

We’ve been to this place a couple of times and we absolutely love it. Beautiful grounds, beautiful sites and the pool and the washrooms and the staff are just amazing.

Like the best camp sites you've heard of; less rules; more friendly; and, clean Enjoy. Safety: Constant checks by staff driving around the park.

CLAIR LAKE PARK REVIEWS

It's a quaint little park that is great for a quick walk. There are some nice forested paths in behind the lake and the water is calm and very safe to be around. There's a playground behind the lake and trails all around the lake itself. There's plenty of green space to relax in and enjoy as well.

Small and cozy. The benches by the pond are the main attraction for little ones when ducks and geese are around! There's also a big open space to sit on the ground.

It is a very good place for walking, and if you are into books, for reading. It has a playground too, so kids can have a good time there.
