A beautiful and majestic rain forest park with amazing canopies, and of course the suspension bridge that goes across the Capilano river. Loved learning about the history and all the Native American influence and the totem poles are beautiful. I really like the way they preserved nature and even for the canopies, they were so careful in terms of preserving the trees, and making sure that nature was respected. Some of the trees in the forest are 1500 years old and the granite canyon was carved out through erosion over a period of 100 million years, incredible.
What a great attraction! The park is an absolutely great way to spend part of your day. Entrance was a bit pricy but worth it considering how large the park is. I would also recommend catching one of the interactive exhibits like the bird talk while you are there if you can time it right. A must see if you're in the area!
Brilliant experience... Besides the suspension bridge, there is a treetop walk, a nature's edge walk, and a cliff walk. All of these are magnificent. Very good educational input given along the way by staff and informative boards. A great place for children too. There is a free shuttle from Vancouver.
