That was an excellent presentation & rewarding discussion regarding Mental Health. It was put on by The Town of Ajax.
Very nice theatre that is a great asset to Pickering Village. We saw a great play in comfy seats. Anyone keen on the arts should support this place.

VETERAN'S POINT GARDENS REVIEWS
Nice lake shore walking tracks, during week days it's really calm, quiet and peaceful. Amazing place for evening stroll, picnic, dog walking, jogging and cycling. Numerous benches to sit. To top it all, the place gives you historical perspective about World War II veterans, with many commemorative text filled blocks. Further west you will see old Ajax water treatment plant being commemorated through a pergola canopy atop a high point. Nice lake views too for photography with a bit of flower beds to add to nature's beauty. Public toilet and parking available. Street lights also present though I always have come here in day time.
Great historical place at the middle front of Ajax! You can learn about the HMS Ajax and its travels. Although it's situated on a hill, there is a great view of the lake and it's surrondings.

AJAX DOWNS RACETRACK REVIEWS
Can’t compare with other places as this was only place I visited a race at as a casual visitor. It was nicely managed Though there are a lot of parking spaces, parking appears to get pretty tight on any day of event.
I love going to this place. It's much different than you may have remembered the track if you have been in Ajax for a while. When I was a kid it was just a few huts around a track. This place is a world class venue now with beautiful grandstands and big screen TVs in the middle of the track. I thought it was pretty exciting. I also don't go to many tracks so maybe I am off on what a track is these days.
Great small track, small horse, sprint race experience. Great for the kids. They have some Female jockeys for the little girls to look up to.
