“Rotary Park is a lakeside park adorned with towering native trees, a beach, playgrounds, and a pavilion. This is a central focal point of the waterfront trail, with opportunities to play on the beach at the water’s edge and fish along the banks of Lake Ontario. The park has a fully accessible playground and splash pad for seniors and juniors. The park includes a multi-use room for meetings, washroom facilities, and a concession stand. Rotary Park hosts many special town events and charity walks throughout the year. At this park, there are many tables and green spaces available for picnics. The park features lots of spots to enjoy with friends and family. Plenty of parking spaces are conveniently located within the park.

“2025 Update: Greenwood Conservation Area explores the banks of Duffins Creek and 283 hectares of naturalized green space, nature trails, walking paths and playgrounds. Greenwood Conservation Area has hiking, fishing and winter cross-country skiing, plus a dog park, in the woods. Greenwood Conservation Area offers wheelchair accessibility and is a Kid-friendly hike. Dogs are allowed in the Greenwood Conservation Area. Public restroom and the dog park are also available. Greenwood Conservation Area has slides.”

AJAX WATERFRONT PARK REVIEWS

The Waterfront Park in Ajax is beautiful with very close proximity to the lake. The sandy area isn’t that great for sitting but the lake looks amazing. It feels relaxed to hear the sounds of the waves. The CN Tower in Toronto is also visible from the lake area though it appears tiny being pretty far off! Always a pleasure visiting this nice Waterfront Park.

Great place to unwind and take a walk. Very scenic and the park area has some really old trees so sit under. Bring a book or go for a nice stroll. Picnic area: Great spaces for eating lunch or to set up a picnic.

Nice clean park, with splash pad and a nice scenic board walk.

ROTARY PARK REVIEWS

The Rotary park in Ajax is a little gem complete with a playground and a beautiful lakeside trail. There is also a little store on site that sells refreshments, to satisfy your sudden hunger pangs. The most beautiful part of this park though is the long and clean waterfront trail. There are plenty of bird houses on the trees. The air is fresh and the view is amazing. You can walk or run or bike or just enjoy the view with some ice cream.Restrooms: Clean restrooms available on site.

The Rotary Park in Ajax is a conservation area that includes a beautiful park and a waterfront trail for people who love to walk and jog while enjoying the scenic lake view. The air is very fresh and this place is quite peaceful and relaxing. There are designated parking lots where people can park their cars. Great place to be during the summers.

Lots of fun to be had ! Two separate playground areas. One for older kids and one for toddlers. There is also a big splash pad with lots of room. Plenty of outdoor spaces to sit and enjoy a picnic. There is also a beach area to enjoy. Paid parking on weekends 10$ for three hours by scanning the QR code online.

Wish I had some photos but I was taken in awe of the calm & freshness I was expierence. Wonderful nature trails as a family or alone for a soul walk.

A beautiful slice of nature just a stone's throw from the hustle and bustle.

Fantastic off leash area. Dog walkers, look for the Church St entrance.
