“Ajax Community Centre features various rooms ideal for meetings, special events or celebrations, and rental spaces. The centre offers inclusive programs for people of all ages, including the Summer Camps & Playgrounds Program. Ajax Community Centre has multiple rinks, a large swimming pool, all racquet sports, a snack bar, and an exercise gym. The indoor pool is extremely fun and accommodating for all ages. There is a skateboard park, basketball court, an artificial turf field, soccer fields, tennis courts, Ajax Soccer Club Clubhouse, Ajax Cricket Club, cricket pitch, and pavilion. The front of the building is well-maintained with beautiful gardens, and the inside is clustered with various colours that bring everything to life.

2025 Update: The Ajax Community Centre features a spacious community hall and family change rooms. A Special Occasion Permit (SOP) is required for all events serving alcohol, including beer and wine. This permit is issued by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO).”

“Audley Recreation Centre is the newest and modern recreation centre, featuring a gymnasium, a six-lane, 25-metre indoor lap pool, a leisure pool with therapy jets, change rooms, a preschool room, and a youth space. Outside this beautiful property are a skateboard park, splash pad, inclusive playground, basketball courts, tennis courts, baseball diamonds, and walking paths. The centre activities include pool tables, ping pong tables, foosball tables, gaming consoles, and a TV to watch movies. There is also a skate park in front of the building. The park features interactive equipments.

2025 Update: The centre has a large community hall of 500-person capacity. They also offer community room and studio rentals for gatherings and events.”

“McLean Community Centre features a full line of strength training equipment, free weights, and cardio equipment. All memberships include free public/lane swim and public skate. McLean Community Centre has a 25-meter indoor leisure pool, a 170-foot water slide, a sauna, a hot tub, a fitness room, and a youth space. The outdoor parks have canopy table benches where parents can watch their children play in the splash park. The centre has an area for parents with babies/small kids to sit in, as well as a wide mushroom waterfall for the kids to enjoy. The staff at the front desk is quick and helpful. McLean Community Centre offers physio and massage for visitors.”

AJAX COMMUNITY CENTRE REVIEWS

Great place with so many things to do. We came in from out of town for a birthday skating party. Rink and facilities in great shape. We had a great time! This party is booked every year, so we look forward to coming every year. Parking was fine when we arrived (early evening). There are even EV charging stations available, so this was perfect since we come in from 2 hours away!! I didn't know these charge stations were available until after we were about to leave... But no issues since there are Tesla superchargers about 10 mins away, right off the 401 where we needed to be anyways.

Great place. We go to all the events here. New Year’s party here is amazing. I like all the programs they have here. Pool is clean, love using the gym at this location. All the staff is very helpful and friendly. Love supporting community centres.

We go mainly for Ajax Rock Oasis. Though our kids took fencing here years ago. And a computer camp once. Always packed, so it must be popular with a lot of people.

AUDLEY RECREATION CENTRE REVIEWS

Everyday I walking through the Audley road. One day I entered into ARC (Audley recreation center). I have seen the building very nice looking. I walked around the ARC there’s a synthetic tennis court, Basketball court , walking trail n children playing arena. So beautiful planning for kids and adults. Even skating area too. Not only Outdoor activity . Indoor swimming pool, Basketball Court and extraordinary library included in this centre. Hall also available for parties. Restaurant n dining facilities. I enjoyed my walking time in Ajax ARC. Very good and nice atmosphere for social activities and gatherings.

Great facility with swimming and other programs like dance, cricket, etc. Unfortunately due to covid the programs are not taking place but is used as a vaccination clinic. Clinic is kept clean and run efficiently. Outdoor playground and splash pad is great for young ones too.

We provided decor for a client’s daughter’s first birthday event and it was very spacious, modern and clean! The halls in Audley Recreation Centre are absolutely amazing! Very clean and the staff were super friendly as they ensured if we needed anything and made sure everything ran smoothly for the event.

MCLEAN COMMUNITY CENTRE REVIEWS

I cannot speak highly enough about the McLean Community Centre! From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed by the friendly and helpful staff. The facilities are top-notch, with a wide range of activities and programs that cater to all ages and interests. My family loves the clean and well-maintained swimming pool, and I personally enjoy the fitness classes that are both fun and challenging. The sense of community here is truly special, making it a wonderful place to meet new people and stay active. McLean Community Centre has definitely enriched our lives, and we are so grateful to have such an incredible resource in our neighborhood!

Enjoy this location for the library, swimming, gym, and the new Makerspace. Out of all the Ajax recreation centres the gym is by the far the best at this location. It’s huge and they have a lot of different machines. I find it never feels busy when I go due to the size. Good rooms you can rent for events here which we have used before. They just need to open the slide for the pool! They have a teen space here that is cool for kids.

My son celebrated his 11th birthday in this community centre and its was perfect. Place were clean, nice stuff and very approachable. All in all the party was awesome. And definitely recommended ,will surely book in the future .Thank you so much!!!
