“Jack Darling Memorial Park offers many excellent facilities for families and individuals who want to spend time outdoors. With a great mix of sandy beaches, recreational parkland, and natural waterfront areas, the park serves as an excellent refuge on hot summer days. The park features open fields, hills, sand, shady trails, benches, as well as numerous picnic tables and BBQ spots. Jack Darling Memorial Park has a long stretch of tennis courts, picnic areas, swimming, and the spectacular Rattray Marsh. There is also a large dog park available. The park has no entrance fee.

2025 Update: Jack Darling Memorial Park is a picturesque waterfront destination offering a range of recreational activities.”

“Kariya Park includes a serene green space featuring Japanese-inspired gardens, walkways and structures. Several animals live in the pond at Kariya Park, including ducks, fish, Canada Geese, and even turtles. Kariya Park is an excellent place to go for a little walk, relax, and take in the lovely scenery around you. You can enjoy the cherry blossoms virtually every year. Kariya Park is an excellent spot to spend a peaceful time and for evening walking. You can also do themed photo shoots and spend time with your loved ones.

“Erindale Park has a beautiful, serene natural environment where everyone can relax and be stress-free. There is also a playground available with slides and a few swings. This park has ample parking spaces. This park also offers grills, trails and a toboggan hill. Erindale Park includes beautiful walking trails, picturesque picnic spots, and serene views of the Credit River. Their peaceful atmosphere and well-maintained facilities make this place an ideal spot for a day out with family or friends. The park has amenities like picnic tables, a public restroom, slides and swings.

2025 Update: A tobogganing hill is available in the winter.”

Great spot for family outings! The play area and beaches are perfect for kids, and the water views are stunning. You can go in the water, have a picnic with available grills, or just relax on the benches. There's ample parking, clean restrooms, and it's dog-friendly too. Whether you're into cycling or skating, this place has something for everyone. Highly recommend.

Beautiful park with awesome view, beach side, barbecue, ice cream truch around 6-7 pm, Long walking trail, Awesome for kidz very nice playground. Perfect to hand out with friends. Spent quality time with friends and family. Look for photos & Videos for better understanding. There are 4,5 parking spots if you go on the side road till you see the lake.

Beautiful. There are multiple beaches. Splashpad for kids. Multiple BBQ. So many benches. Very spacious. Perfect place for picnic.

KARIYA PARK REVIEWS

Cutest park in the city. You will see so much wildlife. Beautiful park to sit and enjoy. Not very big for walking. Many times I have been here people are doing photo shoots for weddings or other celebrations here. Duckies turtles perfect place to bring the family or a date city cares about this park so it is highly maintained. Always city workers planting or maintaining the grounds.

It is a good, small and a cute place to hang out. The park is quite small but picturesque. The ponds look good but not clean enough. You can usually see ducks and turtles in the ponds. You can see the most beautiful trees at this park. It gets quite busy during cherry blossom season. Better to go early in the morning or late in the evening.

A delicate and beautiful park with especially great view of blossom flowers of Cherries in Spring. A typical Japanese garden with Japanese style buildings, bridges, ponds and so forth as well as many trees and plants of Japanese origin. One of the best gardens here, and the symbol of friendship.

ERINDALE PARK REVIEWS

Peaceful park to enjoy with friends or family. Having lots of walking trails along with a fabulous bridge in between the park over the stream. Everyone can spend a day here by camping with family or friends, playing some games, have some homemade food, enjoying the peacefulness in the park. Public toilet is available near to parking area. Good space provided for parking and beware of coyotes around in park area, especially when bringing kids.

A remarkable park in Mississauga with great long creek. Fantastic for long walk and hiking to enjoy the nature. Great for meditation and skip the madness and busy city life to have a mental break from life stress. Peaceful and quiet along the creek. At the same time, great place for picnics, even to play simple soccer games for friends in small group. It's the best so far in Mississauga and one of the well-taken-care parks by local municipality. Highly recommended especially spring and summer time.

Lovely for friends/family gathering and picnic. Great for fishing as well.. free parking available.
