BEACON HILL PARK REVIEWS
Wow. What a beautiful park. So much to see. I don't think we came close to seeing all of it. The flowers are so beautiful & the whole park is so well kept. There are so many different animals to see here. It actually used be a zoo back in the day. It's not anymore but there is a little petting zoo for the kids. & Also a playground area for this kids as well. A lot of dog friendly area but some areas you can't take the dog do to different wildlife. Which I thought was great. All in all we loved this park we went on our last day & we were so happy we did. Also. Don't forget The Moss Lady. She was being renovated when were there but she was still great to see!!
Great place to visit. Beautiful scenery and a great place for kids. There was a water play area and playground. Pretty blooming flowers and lots of animals. Free roaming peacocks, herons, and lots of ducks. Be careful of the heron nesting area, amazing, but be sure to keep your mouth closed, while looking up.
It's always so beautiful there and I love seeing the baby goats!!! Me and my friend spent most of our day there, going to the zoo, walking around the gardens and ponds, and going to the beach. So many cute animals as well! Great place to spend the day!

CADBORO-GYRO PARK REVIEWS
Awesome park for kids and adults alike. There's a huge play ground area with sea monsters and a giant octopus. There's also a large grassy area to play in. And to top it off a beach only steps away. The beach has excellent sitting logs and soft white sand. 10/10 enjoyable. Also, the parking lot gets busy but it's quite large so there's usually a spot opening up just as you're arriving if you're lucky. Restrooms are also on site for when you gotta go.
This park is good if you want to experience both worlds from the play area to the beach front! Whoever keep this place clean is doing a massively good job. The swings, the slides, the zip line, younger kids area, boat, even the washroom! One thing I am not a big fan of is the octopus slide. Ian not saying it’s bad but, I think since it’s cement, maybe a bit dangerous? I mean, I grew up with those, I am sure and still came out okay. :) Beach side is good too!!! But I think it needs more space, it will be crowded when sun is up and wind isn’t blowing much, IMO. Overall,my kid had fun together with he cousins and family enjoyed it.
Beautiful park and beach. It has everything that a family can enjoy. I can spend a whole day in that park. Love that they also have zipline.

ESQUIMALT GORGE PARK REVIEWS
Esquimalt Gorge Park is my favourite place which popular among outdoor enthusiasts for its excellent recreational opportunities. From biking and jogging to kayaking and paddleboarding, there's something for everyone to indulge in and stay active amidst the refreshing natural surroundings. The park's main highlight is undoubtedly the picturesque Gorge Waterway, which offers stunning views and a perfect spot for relaxing by the water. The park's amenities, such as clean restroom facilities and well-maintained picnic areas, contribute to a comfortable and enjoyable visit.
This park is so lovely! City staff do a great job with upkeep. There is lots of parking (including disabled spot and EV charging), picnic tables for small and large groups, lighting, playground, washrooms and water fountains, a paved walking path along the water with benches for sitting and taking in the view of wildlife or people on the water, and even a beach. Swimming not really recommend here as there is a lot of goose poop. Large green space and also an off leash dog area. The Japanese Garden is gorgeous and the new Pavillion is also a beautiful building. This would be an excellent location for a wedding.
Easy, relaxing, beautiful walk- way along the water. Canoes Club, playground ,fields and nature house for children, waterfalls with ponds near the recreation center, a beautiful Japanese Tea Garden, many benches to rest...so lovely. thanks to Victoria Esquimalt.
