Great recreation center with many facilities. Highlights include the pool with activities and water slides, a sauna, hottub, warm children's pool, amazing summer camps, indoor soccer field, gym, skating rink, and a bar/cafe/restaurant overlooking the pool and the ice rink. Staff are always friendly and facilities are clean.

My favourite pool for length swimming. The cooler water temperature is great for swimming workouts and it is awesome to have 50 m lanes. Plus, the steam room is one of the steamier ones in the city and they put up fun word puzzles to do while your in the giant hot tub. Whether the city renos it or builds a new one, I hope they end up with something a lot like what they have now.

My kids enjoyed swimming here for many years. It's smaller than Commonwealth and that adds to the comfort of the place. The kid pool and the warm pool are large and highlights for little ones. I've taken classes in ballroom dance here. The skate park has a good setup and usually well maintained. It's smaller than the Esquimalt park and so it's not as crowded.
