Jane and Alec helped us achieve our vision of having a cottage that would "bring the outside in." We feel like we are literally living in nature! The proportions of the rooms are perfect and the design is just beautiful. We love the way the light comes through our many windows at different times of the day and at different angles - and how the varying ceiling heights give it such a cozy, yet open feel. And then there are all the little finishes that make it feel so modern and clean lined. Jane and Alec pushed us when we needed to be pushed, but also listened to what was important to us. And the result is spectacular.

We have had the pleasure of working with architect/home remodeling professional Alec Brown on a series of renovation projects. We appreciate his ability to be creative and insightful. He is very versatile and is able to reconfigure spaces in ways that we would never have dreamed of. Alec is able to interpret what we feel we need, balance our financial constraints and magically produce a viable and innovative plan, He is very approachable, responsive and supportive. We continue to be impressed by his positive energy, his motivation, his patience and his enthusiasm.

Jane and her team worked with us to transform our century-old downtown home. They designed an ideal main floor kitchen, living area and front/rear exterior entries that really open up the flow and light in our home, Their clean and modern design approach and attention to detail resulted in a distinct look and a functional space that perfectly suits our family.
