Definitely one of those 'one in a million' types of small businesses that sell quality goods, service quickly and are extremely knowledgeable in their trade. I brought in a used serger that I bought on kijiji to see if it could be cleaned and serviced. The owner told me that he would call me if he found that the machine would be very expensive to fix or not worth fixing which I really appreciated being on a student budget! Turns out my new machine was in good shape and he even outfitted it with an extra thread spool and new needles. It works great! They also have a good selection of used and new machines as well as supplies for machines.

Just had a wonderful experience and got a great sewing machine from Dominion. Thank you so much, Mylaine! You have great sewing machines and you are both kind and professional. Thank you!

Wow! I bought a brand new sewing machine elsewhere, and was super disappointed with it. I brought it in to Dominion for servicing, and it is BETTER THAN NEW!!!

Had a great experience here yesterday! I needed a presser foot they had just the right one! I also purchased schmetz machine needles at the best price I have ever seen. Thank you Gem Sewing!

Went with my best friend to make some bestie blankets as seen on titkok. I didn't get the girls name but she was super helpfull. Me and my friend had NO experience with stuff like this but she made it clear and very easy. She even knew what we were doing and gave us tips and suggestions. all in all great service!!

I went there today with my grade 12 sewing class students. The ladies at fabricland were MARVELOUS!!! Nice, very knowledgeable and very very patient! I would give them 20 stars because my students filled the store and had a 1000 questions! Those ladies were just diamonds!

Amazing selection of various craft things! Prices can be a bit high if you dont have a membership but it is worth it. The people that work there are clearly passionate about crafts, sewing etc. Check it out if you haven't there's SO much to browse.
