Kumon

Kumon has done wonders for my boy. During covid and online learning he wasn’t motivated to read and had a really tough time. He fought us to read at home and He was behind in his class. We decided to put him in Kumon. He absolutely loves it. After two short months, he has built such great confidence, advanced so quickly and volunteers to read! He can now play game’s independently, and is now exceeding in all subjects. He sees reading as fun! In combination with fantastic teachers at Kumon and at school, he is doing extremely well. I cannot say enough good about Kumon and only wished I did it sooner.

As a student in grade 4, I started my journey in Kumon Math & Reading. Kumon has always pushed me to my limits and helped me reach my goals. Sometimes I would get frustrated with Kumon as I had to do worksheets every single day but if I were to look at the bigger picture, I cannot predict how strong my math and reading skills would be without the program. I am currently in Gr. 10 doing Gr. 11 math and most of the content being taught, I already finished by Gr. 9. The biggest advantage of Kumon is that it establishes a strong foundation of your math & reading skills and helps you build on them. Along the years, being a strong Kumon math student, helped me get a job at Kumon as an assistant for math.

Enrolling my son in Kumon has completely changed his attitude towards school. He has gained confidence in his reading skills and now he loves going to school and participating in his classes. With the COVID closures I wanted to ensure he didn’t fall behind in his learning and I’m so happy I enrolled him when I did. Shelly and her staff are knowledgeable, professional and really care about each child’s development!
