I was visiting from India. Due to a sudden onset of unexpected complications, I had to rush to the Emergency at Royal Jubilee Hospital, where I came in touch with Dr Zappavigna, through whom I was introduced to Dr Kinahan who, in turn, quickly conducted a TURP on me within a few days, on an urgent basis. Right from my first meeting with Dr Kinahan, my apprehensions were put to rest with his reassuring openness and readiness to discuss how the procedure would go and what sort of results to expect. He personally ensured that my CT Scan and Biopsy were done and concluded expeditiously. As soon as the findings of the CT Scan and Biopsy were in, Dr Kinahan unhurriedly explained their implications and suggested the best courses of treatment that were open to me, answering my questions patiently as if I had been his patient for a long time. For a doctor of his long experience and obvious expertise, he is a very humble and down to earth person. I consider myself lucky to have gotten the chance connection of meeting, and being treated by, Dr Kinahan.
