I love coming to Modo NV for my yoga classes! The staff are super friendly and create a nice welcoming environment. When I had my first few classes I was a little nervous because I had done hot yoga classes elsewhere and sometimes (especially when you first start) you may need to lay down to take a break from the heat (it happens!) and the instructor had always made a big deal about it; however, every class I’ve been to at Modo, the instructor encourages you to listen to your body, so if you need to rest, then rest, it’s your time to listen to what your body needs! They’ll even come and help you with any pose that you’re unsure of or may need adjustments for. The environment is super clean and cozy too - I look forward to every class I attend.
I can't explain how amazing I feel when I practice yoga at Modo North Vancouver. The instructors are excellent and take the time to explain poses and their variations in a way that makes sense. I recommend Modo Yoga to anyone interested in improving their mental and physical health. It is an excellent studio.
I have been attending Modo yoga for a few years now and I really enjoy my experience there. The instructors are great and I’ve been to a number of different yoga studios and Modo is definitely my favourite. I highly recommend Modo to anyone interested in practicing yoga.

Love what the new owner Serena has done since last year! Such an amazing studio with great classes and awesome teachers! Absolutely love the fitness classes led by Sadaf and Carla so inspiring and motivating and changing the exercises weekly is such a great bonus! Vanessa’s Pilate fusion is definitely a class you need to try!!! This is only a few classes that I have mentioned here! All teachers are absolutely trained and very knowledgable and the infrared heat is definitely the cherry on top!Thank you Serena for creating such a great studio and community so we can all stay motivated and healthy! Modo Yoga North Vancouver is a comforting, accepting, and calming space. The staff make you feel welcome when you first step into the studio. Instructors provide you with adaptations to each pose to ensure all participants are successful in their yoga practice. All staff members are encouraging, approachable, and never make you feel judged. I am not very good at yoga, but I leave feeling refreshed, focused, happy and accomplished. As a physical and health professional, I fully believe that Modo Yoga would be a positive experience for those of any fitness ability and level. Thanks for all you do MYNV!! I simply LOVE this studio and the instructors!! I started with the 6 week yoga challenge to get myself back into a routine and just fell in love with the practice and meditations. I highly recommend this studio for beginners and experienced yogis!! ... it is a nice relaxing vibe.
Fantastic! Thoughtful, skilled teacher. Artemis ensures everyone is comfortable and provides detailed instruction. I attended her Yin class and will be a long-term customer. Also likely to explore more classes. I highly recommend The Yoga Root!
