I am staying here since 2020 and I really like my apartment and have enjoyed staying here. The building management and administration team are very friendly and helpful. I enjoy all the amenities like gym, badminton court, basket ball court etc., Whenever I have had any issues or problems with amenities, I have created a ticket on the Hazelview website and the issue has been addressed immediately. I am very grateful for this prompt and efficient service. I have referred more than 4 families to this property, and all of them have enjoyed their stay here as well. It is a testament to the high-quality service that Hazelview provides to its residents. Only think what I miss here is for kids play ground or else all is awesome. I understand that finding a unit these days is not easy, and there is often a waiting period of at least 1.5 months. However, the wait is definitely worth it, and I can vouch for the fact that this is a great place to live.

We've enjoyed living here for more than 5 years because the location is super convenient and the service has been excellent. The Building Management and administration team have always been friendly and helpful. Whenever we had a problem, they fixed it quickly. Recently, we had a maintenance request, and they took care of it right away, just like they always do. Julie Vieira, the regional manager, went out of her way to help and made sure everything was resolved to our satisfaction. We really appreciate Julie's support. Living here has been great because the service is top- notch, and they really take good care of us.

I am reading all negative reviews here and I am not even sure that we are living in the same building and dealing with the same management. May be we just lucky but from the very beginning we got all the help from the management and they were always very responsive. I am not sure that I should call names here but I really appreciate all the help we got from the management. The problems happen of course but the management always find the way to resolve it to our satisfaction.

The building manager and her wife are nice and very friendly and in case of any issues or problems helps tenants instantly without any delay and with a smile on their face .

THE ONYX REVIEWS

Barrel Yards is the only place in Waterloo that has so many amenities including pool, sauna, games room, gym, library, barbecue pits etc. We absolutely love it. The management is very helpful and is very quick to respond to any maintenance issues. The location is beyond perfect too. The apartments are walking distance to Uptown Waterloo and Waterloo Park.

My husband and I downsized and it was the best decision. We love living virtually maintenance free, living close to Uptown Waterloo and there is always resident events happening. It’s a great little community.

I have found my experience at The Onyx to be nothing but positive. The staff is so friendly and helpful. I’m in love with my suite and the amenities such as the fitness room is so convenient.
