3 Best Cafes in Ottawa, ON

The best in Carp and also one of the best in west Ottawa region. I tried the mocha and English muffin with sausage. The coffee is great. They use equator coffee I guess as I saw them selling in store. They provide table service so that’s a plus. They also have separate takeout counter too. They are pretty fast in service. The interior decor is kinda old fashioned ( table and chair) and suits the location and vibe. The service was really great. The muffin was fresh made and could feel it. They have street parking in front of shop and lot of spaces near by. I really enjoyed this place and recommend to visit here. Parking: 7 spot in front of cafe.

We’ve been coming here for a few years now- we love the charm of the cafe, brunch is always delicious and have never had a bad cup of coffee! The baked goods are also heavenly. They also have a freezer section of pies and soups and we loved their split pea and ham. Lots of seating inside but it definitely fills up quickly on weekends!

I love this restaurant so much! Great food and great services! The waffle is my favourite there.

I paired it with an iced coffee, which was expertly brewed and provided the perfect afternoon pick-me-up. For dessert, I indulged in the triple chocolate mousse, and it was pure bliss. Rich, creamy, and decadent, it was the perfect sweet ending to my meal. Beyond the fantastic food, the cafe itself has a wonderful ambiance. It's the kind of place where you can comfortably lose track of time, whether you're catching up with a friend or enjoying a quiet moment alone. The attention to detail extends to their restrooms, which were impeccably clean – a small but always appreciated touch. The location is another huge plus. Nestled amongst a variety of other restaurants and a few quaint art shops, it’s situated in a lively and interesting area that invites you to explore. I would highly recommend this cafe to anyone looking for delicious food, a great atmosphere, and a prime location. I’m already looking forward to my next visit.

My husband and I had high tea at the café this morning, and it was absolutely phenomenal. The atmosphere was perfect and homey, the service was outstanding, and the food and tea were out of this world delicious. We plan on making this a tradition every year. An extra shout out to Sophie for being such a great host for us this morning. Can’t wait to be back.

The atmosphere is beautiful here. Incredible music. Feels special and fancy. Took my daughter for her birthday. She was thrilled. Food feels fancy as well. Expensive at first glance but then it feels worth it because of the quality.
