First time there, they made it into a sports bar. Nice rustic, easy-going place. Plenty of drinks, good food. I had the carrot cheesecake which was A+. The servers work hard and are attentive. I would definitely go back.

Historic place with lots of local stories. Great for a drink and chill on the rooftop. Friendly staff and atmosphere. We didn't try the classic meatballs, next time!

Ben and the staff always take great care of us when we come by. They are hospitable and know how to treat their guests. This is where we go when we’re looking for a fun time with great food and service. We always feel welcome and we’re never disappointed!

MACLAREN'S ON ELGIN REVIEWS

Went there for 2 nights, the small plates were absolutely amazing. The alcohol was great, the service was top notch. Adam served us and he was goated. Brought up the spirit, remembered us from yesterday, lots of laughs, even saw us watching baseball on our phone and put it on the tv for us, amazing service. Pool was lots of fun and next time I come back to Ottawa I definitely will be back, and hopefully in Adams section!

I love hanging out at McLaren’s, been here at least a dozen times. Great vibes, lots of pool tables and great beer selection. But one of the best things is the staff - the servers and bartenders are always super friendly, skilled multitaskers and always giving great service. I’ll keep coming back.

Amazing food! I had a meet lover pizza and it was super good. Someone at the table had the chipotle chicken nachos and those were great too.

Went to Hometown because my daughters wanted Chicken Wings and it was her birthday. Melissa was our server. Melissa was amazing and treated us exceptionally well. My girls really like her. That's how her service impacts my kids. Thanks for treating us amazing and the specy treat with a candle for her birthday. We'll be back soon!

I visited this bar for the first time to watch a Soccer game. The service was flawless, cuisine was excellent.. The bartender Nick was so kind and helpful. I highly recommend Hometown Sport Grill if you want to have a good time.

I recently tried the new vegan menu at Hometown Sports Grill and I was really impressed. The food was delicious, the portion sizes were substantial and the presentation was beautiful. Our server was really friendly too. Highly recommended.
