St. Matthew's R.C. Parish is a Christ-centred community that strives to continue Jesus' ministries of evangelization, prayer, love and social justice. The church was established as a Christ-centred community. Next to the church, Holy Cross High School was present. The school also served as a space for meetings and teaching catechism. By 1984, the church had its first renovations and addition of stairs, deck, windows, and doors. Sept. 21st is celebrated as a special day, the feast of St. Matthew. With the fast-growing community, the church started serving 100 families yearly, and the count started growing yearly. Additional facilities such as track and field, tennis courts, and portable classrooms were added to accommodate the growing parish community and its various organizations.

2025 Update: Their mission is to inspire people to a personal relationship with Jesus. Confession begins 30 minutes before each Mass in the Church confessionals. Confession usually ends about 5 minutes before Mass begins.

OUR Lady of Good Counsel is established to serve the rapidly growing parish community. The church emphasizes hospitality and spirituality. As the church became overcrowded, expansions were undertaken to accommodate parish families attending Mass. Committees were formed, and funds were raised under the guidance of the reverend and pastors to facilitate these expansions. Visitors and families frequently commend the church for its welcoming atmosphere. Many individuals have been attending the church for over two decades and still find it to be a thriving community. Volunteers are readily available to assist visitors with the church's history and other details.

2025 Update: Their Lady of Good Counsel is the Sacraments. They are visible signs of Grace, a way for them to receive and experience the gift of Grace that flows freely from the heart of Jesus.
