3 Best Computer Repair in Ottawa, ON

Highly recommend your company. My older computer began stalling randomly on me, no pattern. My husband took it to Geeks know this. They scanned it and recommended replacing the SSD and added extra memory for a competitive price. Sadly, although the machine was more responsive, the problem persisted. Back it went, under a 1 year warranty. Four days of testing and all was well in the shop. So they asked us to bring in the keyboard and mouse for testing. That was the problem. We replaced those components and the computer is now brilliant. Thanks to Kaleb for standing up to your very good reputation and spending hours trying to replicate the random frozen manual interface!! Very thorough and dogged. Thanks to Nevin and Kaleb for 5* ++ service and marvelous value. And locally owned in our neighbourhood ( we live in Alta Vista). Thank you very much for a valuable service.

These guys are absolutely the best in every respect. My desktop issued seemed simple at first and the tech offered to fix it for free if it was a simple software reset issue. The next theory was that it needed a new clock battery, which had to be ordered in. The communication process was excellent through this stage, with regular phone calls and texts about the status. The battery replacement also didn't work and it turned out to be a more complex hard drive issue they couldn't fix. Because they failed to fix it, they charged me nothing - they wouldn't even let me pay for the special-order battery. But, even if they had charged me, their shop rates are very reasonable.

I recently visited Geeks Know This store and was genuinely impressed by the quality of service, product selection, and overall customer experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly by knowledgeable staff who were eager to help. Whether you're a tech enthusiast or just shopping for a gift, I highly recommend it. It’s a place where quality products and great customer service go hand in hand.

Took my laptop in on Friday and had it back the same day - working like a charm. I have always had good service at Bill and Dave's and when experienced problem logging-in, I had confidence that they would be able to find the problem and fix it. Not an easy fix - it is often difficult to find the cause of some of these glitches. Very satisfied by the knowledge of the staff and their technical capabilities. I feel my electronics are in good hands with these people and they will try their best to make things right. Thank you for your excellent service.

Excellent service! I put my older laptop in for an OS upgrade. They undertook a comprehensive diagnostic before starting and found another problem which we were able to fix before it became a major issue. Very polite and efficient people to deal with. Good value for money. They even delivered the laptop back to my home late on a Saturday evening in great working order. Highly recommended.

They fixed my iPhone 6S screen back in November very quickly and for a fair price. I think it was repaired in 30 minutes! In January the screen was having issues again with the responsiveness of the touch screen so I brought it in. They took it in and respected the warranty they provide, and replaced the screen again with no charge! Great service. I'd recommend.

My previous office was located near downtown Ottawa. I started going to Bill and Dave then, mainly because they were not that far away. I found them very helpful and pleasant to work with then. More recently, I moved my office to Elmvale Acres. By coincidence they had also moved about 6 blocks away down St. Laurent Boulevard. Recently, both my partner and I got into computer schmozzles. I was in deep despair about sorting them out. After a short call, Dave showed up at our door and got my partner's computer sorted out quickly. I took mine to their shop (damaged smartphone). They had that fixed in a couple if days after ordering a new screen for it. In brief, excellent service, with a smile! - David C. Reply
